Home Visits
We are happy to carry out home visits for our clients. However we do prefer to see pets at the surgery as we then have all equipment and staff to hand that we may require, including qualified veterinary nurses.
In emergency situations it is generally better to be prepared to bring the pet to the surgery as calling the vet out first for a home visit can waste valuable time as usually we then have to transfer the animal to the surgery anyway to provide any useful treatment. It is important to always ring the emergency number before turning up, as a vet will not always be on site and this gives time to get a vet back to the surgery.
Please note that an additional charge is made to home visits to cover the extra costs involved and that this is over and above any consultation charges.
In certain situations the practice reserves the right to insist that animals are seen at the surgery
